An important event that i read from my independent reading book is when Jason and his dad get in a an argument because his dad is saying his school is a looser school and Jason does not like that so he decides to talk back. I think that from Jason's dad perspective he thinks that the school he goes to is a looser school because only the people that like drop out and do really bad in there home schools go there and i also think that he feels bad saying that about his sons school after because he noticed how much that one word hurt Jason allot.

the book i am reading is called "beyond dreams". this book is about different story's about what most teenagers in a high school go through but i will be talking about the first story.the first story is about a boy who use to attend a high school named Hamilton high but got kicked out and know attends at continuation school which is for like drop outs he is 17 years of age and his name is Jason and who struggles with school and his family.Jason is a boy who lives with his dad after his mom decided to leave his dad and take his sister with her and leave him with his dad.Jason does not do good in school because he rather mess around and do other fun stuff then spend time doing his home work he also tends to not pay attention to his teachers or parents Jason has a job and he works at McDonald's and he use to play baseball at his old high school but he got grade cut and wus sad cause he wus really good at it.I can relate to this story because i also struggle in school and rather do other things than my homework and sometimes i also tend to not listen to my teachers or my parents even though i know they are only trying to help.

reading books

My low light about reading is that sometimes i don't understand some words and because the book might not be as interesting as it seems.My high lights about reading is that its fun and u could do it any were like when your at school at home on the bus or in the car and u get to learn things and there are many different kinds of books for example there are funny ones sad one exciting ones and scary ones.
